Horse Shelters

Our experienced carpenters have been building horse shelters, barns, enclosures, and run-ins for 15 years - using only the highest quality materials with the highest standard of construction. Most of your horse shelter will be constructed by hand which gives you a better built shelter that will last for many years to come. All our shelters are designed to not only look great but to be as safe as possible for your horse.

All of our shelters are created to give you years of reliable service even in the harshest of weather conditions. Each shelter is built using heavy-duty lag bolts and ring shank galvanized nails. The lower portion of all our shelters are built with heavy duty treated lumber. All of our treated lumber is arsenic free for your horses safety! 2x8 treated tongue n groove wall boards (built 7 high for more than 4’ of safety for your horses.), 4x4 treated corner, mid and end walls. We use all treated 4x6 runners not 4x4 like many of our competitors. All ends, corners and mid post are secured to the skids with steel angle brackets and lag bolts. The top half is constructed construction grade lumber: 2x4, 2x6, and/or 2x8 lumber and finished with 29 guage premium steel with a thicker finish to prevent flaking and peeling of paint. (*****many builders are using a cheaper version of 29 guage steel and the paint chips, peels and cracks*****)

Any of our buildings can be customized for your specific needs. Additional options include: sliding stall doors on tracks which can be made to look like dutch doors, small tack/storage with tongue n groove floors, divider walls (permanent or removable), clean out doors, hinged doors, gates vents, windows and skylights.

We have three styles to choose from:

  1. Appaloosa: slanted lean to style roof
  2. Belgium: gable roof
  3. Mustange: slanted lean to style roof with over hang. Most popular style!!!
