What sets Amish Carpenters apart from others?  For many years Amish carpenters have been known for their fine craftsmanship.  Our Amish carpenters have been building horse shelters for 15 yrs, using only the highest quality materials with the highest standard of construction.  Most of your horse shelter will be constructed by hand which gives you a better built shelter that will last for many years to come.  Being horse owners/lovers they have designed all our shelters to not only look great but to be as safe as possible for your horse.  Getting a custom hand built shelter from us, you can be assured that our Amish carpenters will build you the finest in horse shelters.

All of our structures are built at our carpenters shop, fully assembled and then delivered to your site and placed in place. These structures are built for ease of movement and can be moved by an ATV or even garden tractor.

Our structures are all hand crafted using commercial-grade non-arsenic lumber and premium steel. They are created to give you years of reliable service even in the harshest of weather conditions.

Each shelter is built using heavy-duty pole barn ring shanked pole barn nails. End walls are reinforced horizontally and vertically with treated 4x4s. This makes our shelters one of the top sellers on the market.

We use 4x6 or 6x6 treated skids on our shelters. All support post are secured to the skids with steel angle brackets and lag bolts. On all four corners there is a 1/4" steel cable looped through the skid for moving or anchoring.

The portion of each shelter is comprised of arsenic free pressure treated 2x8 tongue n groove boards that are 7 high (just over 4') for the safety of your animals. The top half is constructed with non-treated pine 2x4, 2x6, and/or 2x8 lumber and finished with colored steel.

Because our shelters are one of the top sellers in the country and all of our shelters are built to your custom needs, our turn around time is 3-4 weeks from time of order.
